Jigsaw Run
Beginners Circle Game Jam game~ <3
Our first game <3
Please be wary of couple of outgoin' issues:
1) When you start with tutorial, there will be "scary" map first, something went south with "show presenter" commentary, so u need to stand there for a couple of seconds
2) Maze level is the last one and after getting to door u should win. So when u get there with that golden key, account yourself as winner!
3) On chest level (right after the running level) there is a issue with door in the middle of level. Colider is to close the wall and doors can close on you and you can get stuck. So please make a run for it in corridor <3

The art looks really good. If the controls not lining up with the map layout was for difficult, it worked.
It did seem like a fun game, if I was better.
The screenview and Art is great! I like the humor. The levels also feel like they are well designed. The controls feels a little off though. the jump is too fast and not enough airtime. Great work!
Thank you very much for kind words and input!
We will get better, promise! <3
To be honest, when I saw Jigsaw Run, I thought it would be a competitive gameshow about solving connecting puzzles. Jokes aside, Jigsaw Run is a gameshow where you are a (unwilling) contestant trying to escape a sadistic owner.
Graphically, I like the isometric perspective, although in some places you can see the seams of the tiles leaking out and over/under lapping each other. Other than the issue of tiles layering over each other, the art is quite good and unique. This game is very fond of humor, the host leaving quips of "help" and "advice" all over his playset. I quite like the humor in a sadistic way, as I die over and over on spikes, or walking around in the maze and being told that Johnny Depp is pretty hot. However sometimes I may have to scrunch up my face on the screen to read some of their notes or clues they left behind.
If you get over the difficulty hump of the isometric platforming, you can acknowledge that this game performed very well. The bugs that are mentioned on this page are referenced, so don't forget to read them before you begin.
Thanks a bunch! That kind of review and input will keep us goin' <3
